It controls the amount of chemicals/ hormones that your brain and body produces that is being controlled by your genes.
That is how your behavior is being affected.

genes are condensed of form DNA which r in choromose.
Its presence was first identified by MEDEl. But in 1909 Johnssen was the 1 who gave the name - genes. genes pass from1 generation 2 another throgh gamaes(sex cells) during mating. The r in pairs.

Much of behavior is genetically determined. If you want proof, look at animal behavior. You can breed animals to be more or less aggressive, more or less nurturing, more or less intelligent, etc. Humans are animals, and so the same traits that can be bred in animals are going to run in families in humans.
Some of this can be molded and mitigated by experience and nurturing, but not as much as we would like to believe.

Not all behavior is based upon genetics, much of society and culture is learned and has nothing to do with DNA. However, many other traits of ours have been handed down to us, through our genes, from our successful anscestors. We, humans, have social adaptations that helped us become the only advanced primate on the planet. The tendancy to arrange bonds with other tribes and families by marrying off girls is a part of our genetic behavior. Building alliances with other groups is another, and it is related to exchanging brides. I doubt Neanderthal did this much. They adapted to an environemtn where being the 'big man' might have led to success. We came along, with our blood alliances, and could call upon family tribes in other places for support. Neander might just have lived isolated from other Neanders, so our social adaptation helped us to out compete them. If they attacked one tribe it would only be a matter of time before two or three related tribes got together and retaliated. If you look at our closer primate cousins, you will see many behaviors that we ourselves demonstrate. Bonobos are actually closer to us than chimps. They have a matriarchal society, which means the females lead, and are rather sex obsessed. Look at that and then look at modern advertisement or talk with the average teen-age male about what he thinks about. Chimps are very close to us and they patrol their territory and attack stranger chimps. Like a gang. Primate males tend to form gangs and attack outsiders, be they human or chimp. Shaking hands has deep, cultural history, but two people touching each other to form aquiantence is a lot like chimps who groom each other to form a bond. Touch is very important to primates. It shows caring, warmth, maybe affection, association. Primates who are mad at each other might avoid grooming each other until they cool down a bit and then groom to ease their tension and end their conflict. Primates, including us, tend to build up to physical violence. Intense vocalizations, throwing objects, and hitting yourself will usually precede actual violence to others. Society is different between our two closest cousins. Chimps have a 'big man' who is the top male. Only he can have sex and he will kill children that aren't his. Bonobos have an alpha female and the whole tribe has sex. They have sex to solve conflicts, calm themselves, and for no reason at all. Most people would say the monogomous relationship, one man with one woman, is the normal human method, but you see variations. All primates laugh, have jokes, show awe at beautiful things, and generally like to be around each other. This is behavior that is common to primates and could be based on genetic preferance.

genes are the part of DNA which consist of the nucleotides - A,T,G,C.These nucleotide sequenses are actually responsible for the behavious, and any change in their positon causes what we know as MUTATIONS.The main reason for variation in the 2 human behavior is the change in the nucleotide seq and this phenomina is known as SINGLE NUCLEOTIDE POLYMORPHISM.
