Alternate fuels are so speculative that 9 out of 10 companies will not make it. They are still a long way off. All the hype over ethonol is just that hype. It takes more energy to make a gallon of ethonol than can be produced by that gallon. Where do you think that energy is going to come from?

You might possibly find a good bet in wind mills. They have a great deal of potential. The main manufacturer is Vestas in Demark. There stock is traded on European markets under the symbol VWS and as a pink sheet stock in the U S under the symbol VWSYF.PK.

And have you noticed what uranium stocks have been doing lately?

Personally, I would stick with the tried and true--COP, XOM, APA, NBR, DVN, etc.

I've made a nice profit on a couple of suggestions he's given and plan to start trading his ideas a lot more. I definitely recommend subscribing to https://tr.im/tradepennystocks
Very good research, quality stocks. I was a bit weary of penny stocks from all the bad hype they receive but this guy is pretty legit. He's put my mind at ease with a lot of the fears I've had.

I heard that University of Toronto found a way to create (extremely small) IR solar cells, that are so easy to apply - they are just painted on a surface. The projected cost to create units was only about 20% of conventional units.

Anyone that can develop this technology & bring it to market anywhere close to 20% of conventional units, stands to be huge. Living in Phoneix, where we do get a little bit of sun (330 days per year & average high temperatures in Summer of 105F), I've looked at buying solar cels for my house, but the payoff is not for another 15-20 YEARS. At 20% of the cost, the payoff would be 3-4 years. That's a difference-maker !
