Best thing to do is to Pickle them - quite a few ways of doing this.
At it's simplest, slice them, salt them to draw out some of the water, and layer them with sliced onions is a sterilised glass jar.
Pour over them your favourite type of vinegar diluted 50% with boiling water, (allow to cool before pouring over) and seal the jars.
There are lots of variations you can make on this, the common ones being to add dill weed and mustard seeds to your jars before sealing, but there are lots of other flavourings you can add as well - chili, garlic, mint - just use your imagination and resources from your garden.
If you a feeling more adventurous, you could make a mustard sauce and preserve them in this.
You can also preserve them in Brine, but this requires some experience (see Oded Schwartz's book "Preserving")

In a soup in the freezer, pickled in a jar,

dark dry cool and seperated, ie hung in a loft or shed.

Seperating them prevents rapid transfer of moulds.

High water content makes them difficult to store without preserving them

If you are wanting to store them whole the best place would be the bottom drawer in your refrig.. I slice peel and slice mine and put in freezer bags and then stick in the refrig.. they last quiet nicely that way as the longer you leave them in the skins the harder it is to peel them.. other than canning them or making pickles with them .
the will last up to two weeks in the refrig sliced and put in freezer bags make sure to squeeze as much air out of the bags as possible..
good luck

Ugh you sound so nice....
Cuecumbers dont last long at all.
Try trading them with neighbours who grow other stuff maybe.

Wrap them in news paper, keep separate, store on a shelf not in direct sunlight, but airy.....

I would love one, if you felt like sharing, swap u for a jar of jam......

Ooooh, they don't stay firm for long, if you don't look after them with a bit of TLC. Best to use them up before they go soft. Share them with friends and family. Spread the love.

Lucky you, my neighbour put some plants in for me (in his green house) but they didn't do well at all, I only got 3.

but they don't keep, not sure if you could pickle them though.

Keep them in the fridge. Make pickles. Get a juicer and use them for juice.
