Apple all the way. Apple laptops don't overheat and explode due to faulty batteries.

Plus Dell customer service is the worst thing around, unless you like talking to low-paid call center workers in India whose only advice is to restart the laptop and make sure all your cables are connected.

While I am not sure that an Apple is the greatest alternative, I would stay far away from Dell Laptops. For an interesting study, try searching on "Dell class action lawsuit", "Dell overheating problems", or "Dell power plug problem". Another fun one is "Dell fire video"!
Of course the fun ends once you get a Dell.

Apple. I have a Apple MacBook Pro 17' inch and a Dell XPS. Dell sucks, and their customer service sucks. Apple is great. You just call them and they'll give you a solution spontanously. Dell sucks. Apple does not overheat. It's way faster. No viruses ever. Really Light. Never Explotes. Dell is just an overrated gay company that makes f@ggy computers.

i-pod is a mac product, so of course it is compatable with the apple computer, but when buying a laptop, you have to consider, you can't run windows on an apple. many games are made specifically for a mac or for a windows machine. personally, i would get the dell, because windows is what i am used to operating on, so the mac operating system would be confusing to me. weigh your options well. (i imagine it is also much easier to find cheap upgrade parts for the dell than it would be for an apple)

Go for APPLE. It has the features you want. DELL is more formal and executive. A cool pax like you should take APPLE. Judging by the requirements you have in mind, you are on the entertainment path.

Apple.
It is certainly more reliable and stable compared to Dell. I actually have a Dell and Apple and I strongly prefer my Apple.
