Ok so ive been saying for years now i want to get fit lose some weight tone up ect. im not heavy just un toned a little, i sometimes do a power walk for 30 mins about 4 times a week, then i find it dont make me fit, what exercise do you advise? and how often and how long a week do i need to do it to get results i want

Regular swiming helps tone the body and doesn't put any stress on the joints, the walking you are doing is good for all over fitness, but you might need to see an instructor in you local gym to find out what to do for specific parts of the body. Usually involves repetition, sometimes with light weights, eg to tone arms, if would be lifting exercises with light weights, or using say bake bean cans. It needs to be something you enjoy or you will give up and get bored, good luck
