Alienware computers are built for gaming. If you need a new computer and want to play games online then I suggest buying one of these. You can find refurbished ones at pretty good prices.

The xbox is better than the ps 2. The 360 must be better, and they got a ps3 coming out soon. So whichever suits your budget.
Have got to complain though about how easily the ps 2 discs can be damaged to not work at all or bug. The money we pay for them, and they are absolutely appalling quality.

If your into that sort of thing look at the Shuttle High End Gaming machines or the Ailenware ones.

A decent spec PC is better than X-box or PS2. It is far more easily upgradable.
Go for something with plenty of RAM (at least a gig), and a specialist 3d graphics card (at least 256MB)
