that is i have 4 computers and 2 printers and i want to network them

for the networking of computers u can use switch and the 2 printers just connect them to any computer and share them for sharing.
After installing printer just right click on printer icon u find sharing click on it and click on share this printe and on computers which are in network from network sharing share ur printer

Set up a LAN between all computer and share the printers and other devices. Check on google about LAN setup

get a router, netowrk cables and make sure all the printers and computers have network cards.
Plug them all in together and make sure they are all members of the same workgroup
Have the router set to send DHCP IP addresses to the computers

What OSes? If mixed, or virus magnet Microsoft, GNU/Linux works/protects, best, with an old box and http://ipcop.com so they are firewalled!
Then, http://google.com/linux and ask about "network for peanuts" for the exact directions.

simple use the HUB to connect all three systems.
