To believe means to be convinced a statement is true without proof. I am not one to blindly believe anything. I insist upon knowing, not merely believing. To know is harder. One questions the beliefs that he was taught when he was a child and tests them by looking objectively at the evidence. There is no evidence for the existence of any gods that can even begin to satisfy a scientist or a logician. I know better than you do what is coming, and I don't have to believe anything or listen to unproven stuff. The heaven Dad described is just another hell. Pleasure is sinful. I wouldn't want to go there even if it did exist, and you might not like it when you saw what it was really like. We can be glad that a grim place invented by morons does not really exist. If there were heavens, I would prefer the Moslem one with 72 houris for my sexual pleasure.

Yes, I believe in God. I also believe that the bible was written by men and is flawed. I believe that we are already in hell, and we are here learning for God, perfecting for him.
And another thing, the bible isn't a book about the life of Jesus, he doesn't even show up until the new testament.

i replaced right into a sturdy believer in God while i replaced right into a toddler... Then I grew to become to be an Atheist for some years... that factor replaced into easily undesirable for me... I went into melancholy and all that... Now I strongly have self assurance in God... I even have have been given peace of innovations now...i do no longer pray or ask something... in basic terms I seek advice from God as I seek advice from a chum...

No I do not believe in God because there is no God. If there is a God, prove it! Gather the evidence of God's doing!
If there was a God there would not be 9/11, World Wars and dirty politics.

YES and to all the people who are saying to prove that there is a God..........you prove that there isn't!!!!!!!!!
and to raj B the reason he let 9/11 happen is because every one needed a major shock to wake them up, because no one thought they needed God, but did you see all the people flocking to the churchs and praying all of a sudden because they got a wake up call by 9/11 and as soon as every thing calmed down every one stopped going to the churches because everthing was calm and they thought they didn't need him. But as soon as the next terrible thing happens it will start all over because no one can get it through there scull that they need him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's it like to be brainwashed? What real evidence (besides a thousand year old book) do you have that heaven is like you say? What evidence do you have that jesus existed? Because I have hundreds of thousands of books, fossils, geological proofs and the like, that say otherwise. Let me know if you ever wake up from your ignorant dream.

No. Even if there is a god, how do you know you are worshipping the right one? You'd still be going to hell if the god turn out to be a hindu god or zeus or mithra, etc. etc. etc.

HE is my source of existence and Savior.
He keeps me functioning each and every day Without Him, I will be nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)
I believe God...
