No, "homophobia" is a made up term intended to browbeat people who dislike that lifestyle and make their opposition seem like a sickness.

To what extent would you classify homophobia? I, myself, think it is unnatural. Although I can understand why a woman would want to be bi...I mean have you seen yourselves? You're just hot! But for a guy to be a homosexual...just destroys my mind. Then you get the argument that Homosexuals were born that way. Were they really? And if they were...wouldn't that kinda be like a genetic defect? Not trying to bash or anything but if you think about it..it is natural for a male to want a female...so he can impregnate her and propagate the species. Now maybe there is just too many people and that's why it's such a big issue.....but all that aside....I just wish'd they'd all shut up...the homophobes...the homo's....just shut up, mind your own damn business, and leave the rest of us alone.

Ya got a point as when two males or females wanna get it on or have a relationship,it's none of my business...
I'm with my girl and that's none of anyone Else's business.
I think homophobia is a weakness of others. A weakness in a way of excepting and come to terms with their own sexuality......What ever that may be...

Not so much as it is a fear of people that are not like the norm sexually. You'd get the same reaction to a dominitrix, or a person into S&M.
Beastiality would have the same response.
But you are not having parades in the honor of these sexual types, and they are not trying to get married to animals either. They are not trying to lay claim to normiality.

"HOMOPHOBIA," by definition, isn't even a euphamism, it'e a made-up word designed for the intent of stirring anger in those to whom a small minded person would apply such obviously vitriolic fervor. Had you noticed, of late, that it's fashionable for women to verbally abuse men? Did you notice, in years gone by, that it was acceptable for men to verbally abuse women? Civility has gone the way of the other extinct species.
Defining "homophobia," according to the etymology of the language, one would arrive at :the unwarranted fear of homosexuals." Most people who are not homosexual do not fear homosexuals. They, in fact, loathe them, in their hearts, admit it or not, often doing them violence, as I'm sure you've heard. They do, however, resent someone twisting the language with hate-speech and euphemisms, and outright misuse. Example: Gay. This word means happy, without going into degrees of long discourse. Homosexual is the descriptive, and accurate word that has served the purpose in most languages, throughout recorded time.
Suppose you, like the vast majority of the world's population, believe in a God, who inspired men, over centuries of time and against incredible enemies in the form of Emporers, Kings, wealthy and powerful people throughout the ages trying to destroy the Book, have a copy of it, today, in our time. Further suppose that you read it and believe, from much of the content, that it's inspired. In this Book, the book of Romans, Chapter 1, the guiding Spirit of the Book and of all Creation, as you have come to accept because you are intellegent, and you know superior intellegence, when you see evidence of it (Hebrews, Ch, 11), tells you, with authority, that the practice(I know, American dialect, if you please) is, in God's own opinion, evil, an "abomination," (to Him), AND, further, He promises a severe judgement and consequences for those who indulge in the behavior.
Now, with this in mind: Wouldn't you go to extremes, if needed, to convince your "brother," someone you loved, even a stranger, not to go there? Should you see an automobile speeding toward a bend in the road, around which you KNEW to be a brick wall, just past the half-way point of the curve, wouldn't you shout to the STRANGER, "look out for that..."
However, even Shakespeare admitted that the average human being has enough of that spark of the Divine, so as to be "like a God." I just refuse to believe that you, even though we may differ radically in our beliefs, would silently watch, without, at the very least, feeling compelled to try to save me, that stranger, from unknowing self-destruction. Truth be known, I may be repulsed by something you do, but this doesn't mean I would welcome your destruction. The Bible states that YOU, also, are my brother.
Can we, collectively and individually, sometimes be cruel, or hurtful to those whom we love? I believe I've seen that, a time or two. And, I've done that, times uncounted. I want you to know that I, for one, cannot be, and am not proud of the fact, and that the Bible, no matter how often maligned, is your strongest, bravest, and most indisputable defender, as well as the Authority that tells you to go another way. You see, the hardest thing that ANY man can do, is to admit he is wrong. That's human nature, as described in that Book.

Sometimes. Sometimes it is a p.c. label that is applied to anyone who expresses an opinion about the behavior of a minority group like homosexuals who are not in the mainstream of social behaviors. If someone expresses a fear of walking at night in a different ethnic neighborhood they can be called racist. If someone disagrees with ILLEGAL aliens they can be called xenophobes.

Yes, But it also has something to do with fear and a total lack of self-confidence. Many of the people that fear a gay person feels that he does not want to be anything like that person. So my question is why don't you just stay away from that kind of person and just mind your own business, Instead of creating conflict. also why do u allow your peers to create such a situation for you. Aren't you capable of thinking for yourself. Or are you really drawn to gay people, and the truth is you really do want to be like them. Just remember that gay bashing is not going to bring your status up in this world, all it will do is prove just how really insecure you really are about yourself and how little you are doing in-order to correct your real problem. That is also why any man who hate another man is because of his race. He or she feels so low about themselves, that they have to attack other in order to build themselves up. But in truth it never seems to help, and the problem continue to exist in their mind thru-out a life time. Me I much rather be alone then to allow others to do my thinking for me..... And then allow their stupid problems become mine....

NO,,,,it just means that you find the gay lifestyle to be completely unnatural and disgusting and you prefer to have no association with it , whatsoever,,,,,,remember,,,it was Adam and Eve,,,not Adam and George,,,,,I don't believe for one minute that it she be called " sexual confusion",,,,it simply stems from being socially outcast,,,,,it gives people that don't find in to mainstream society a place.
