Well. morality is not based on any industry but on the individuals/people from the industry. With the new sexual freedom and inculcation of western values it is no wonder if what you are asking is true.

I remember way back in the 70s Stardust published a photo of a cabaret dancer lying on a bed with only her bras and panties and four men were seated around her eying her hungrily. Raj Kapoor and Sanjay Khan were one of them but I do not remember the others. The photo was taken at a filmi party. Now in the 60 and 70s there were no awareness about the aids and no may be people engaged in a lot of sexual relations. Bollywood has always been famour for its affairs

I think the Film Industry has not lost its morals otherwise we would have movies without the songs. The industry has just adapted itself with the times and new audience and wants to appeal to a more younger and fresh audience. The latest film Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna is a prime example. This show the reality of the world.

No. It is simply beginning to reflect a change in Indian society. With the rapid technological and social advances in Indian society, Indian society is changing at a rapid rate. The film industry doesn't make those changes happen, it simply acts as a mirror to society. It's a safe place where those ideas can be dealt with without threatening the fabric of society. Eventually those issues will move outside the screen and into public debate, but in film they can be dealt with in a tidy, safe way that can protect the average person from being overwhelmed by them.

I will say yes, i think most Indian people around the world will agree that Hindi movie is watched by a 3year old to a 80 years old because it was believe its safe to watch with families without being embarassed by any scenes but these days you cannot there are so many obscene scenes , i know in a country they used to show the top ten hindi songs at about 7.30pm where all the kids were watching but now they had to move it to after 9pm cause of the vulgarity and thats a shame and most family refuse to go to the cinema with their kids cause they don't know what to expect............most people knows about sex, drugs, burgalry, affairs etc....but why promote it......i think everything is down to money, money, money these days whatever sells thats what people want i think morals are gone down the drains......whether its and Indian society or western society.....................Whats say people...................

yes definately, the films made these days are really missing on their moral. there is so much of vulgarity that is shown that afetr some time they will make nude scenes aslo and show will will be passed by the sensor board. there is a great expample of Rakhee Sawanth who really looks like a pimp and does not need to be in the industry, thesse types of looks and clothing should be allowed in A grade movies only and not U grade movies.
