I don't. I have seen too much to believe the media. I think the media sucks. (my opinion) My grandmother use to say, and that was years ago--believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see--and in many cases this is true.

I do not for if i did i'd be a size 10, would work myself to death, support any and every war going on as it was suggested to me i did, i'd live in asemi detached new development with fitted kicthen, pool etc ...buy any sprays to clean my house, car, be over insured by a few insurance companies and then start to worry about my older days when watching the ad for Tena ladies ....

Instead i'm a size 14, feel comforatble, wear clothes i fancy, not need to have because everyone else is wearing them, am now lewading a quiet life in a liuttle village totally lost in the sticks (Exactly where i wanted to be) in a 150 years old cottage that i love to bits! Stacks of space and 3 acres round me!!! No neighbours, part from cows and sheep, what i think about the war is my own, i don't have to discuss it with anyone, i watch teh news when i want to, not because i need to know what everyone's talking about, i grow my own vegetables and am attending a course to learn how to make cleaning products using organic elements so ... No poisonous sprays needed ever again, my insurance is local, in fact insurance man's wife attends same classes as myself! My premiums are much lower than they ever were (Even after giving the dog a bone or being quoted happy) And i don't have to fret about the day when i might need Tena ladies because i won't! I walk far more now than i ever did when living/working in the city! When swicthing on TV was the only way i knew to relax but hey! I still have a TV, watch it maybe 2 to three times a week, depending what movie's on! As for newspapers ... I buy my local paper and follow the cattle mart because i'm seriously thinking into breeding sometimes next year.

I don't need the media to remind me about the wars going on, i know soon enough as petrol prices keep going up.

So me being brainwashed? Used to be ... Until a year ago! And boy do i feel good now!

Wow, this is like a De ja vue! Mon Diem, leggy! The media has become de facto adviser and companion for me. It tells me how I should dress, what to eat; where to go. Guidance allows me to be a better consumer. When I remove myself from the reach of media I'm forced to confront all the paradox of my existence. I'm forced to commune with the One. I think of media the way a doctor would think of a mind numbing drug. It allows me to escape my social responsibilities and anesthetizes me at the same time. I hope this helps with whatever your trying to figure out.

I don't - I pay little attention to the media because I realised a long time ago they were trying to brainwash us.

Because they touch me softly. The allure of bright lights, ringing buzzers, and flashes of leg are too much for most people.

Everybody tries to manipulate everybody's thinking. You're doing it right now.
