That depends on what you mean by "express" your love. Behaving yourself means to respect yourself. There are many ways to express love to someone; we can be caring, kind, helpful, supportive and respectful of them as a human being.

You don' t mention your age, and that makes a difference, as to how you should express your love to someone. When you are a younger teen, you are just beginning to learn about relationships and love. As you grow older, you understand more, that each person brings something to you. It can be good, it can be bad.

Unfortunately, many young girls are not always taught how boys operate. They are different in how they look at love and relationships. As they experience their hormonal changes, they have one thing on their mind and that is sex. They will say anything and do anything for it, including and not limited to lying to a girl and telling her he loves her.

How can you be sure that someone really loves you? That is easy, they prove it by respecting you and not being selfish. If you understand that you need to build a friendship first to see if this person is who they profess to be, you have a good start. This way, if he isn't showing you his true intentions, they will eventually come clear to you with time. Time is your friend if you allow it to happen. It will reveal what is in someones heart.

If you ask for my advice regarding sex and relationships, of ANY age, I would say give it a lot of time. Watch what happens. Be honest with yourself, with what you see in someone else and your choices. Respect yourself and don't allow someone to talk you into anything. That is a person that has selfish motives. You want to distance yourself from a boy like that. Be wise. Be careful.

Flexscan - you don't have to say a word.
Body language can say it all.

When you are near each other look at him, until your eyes meet.
Give him a quick smile and look away as if you are blushing.

Believe me, that's all you have to do.
If he doesn't come over to you try it again another time.

Eventually, if he likes you he will pluck up lots of courage, come over and talk to you and feel ever so masculine because "he pulled!"

He may come over and say, "Who do you think you're staring at?" in which case he isn't the sort of guy you want to be around anyway.

Good luck.

You definitely has to! Happiness lies in your own hand. Seek and you will find. Tell him straight. Don't beat around the bush. If he is not on the same level of love with you, you still can be friends. Even if you failed, at least you did try then to not known

Do express your love. It is an art.
Use some magic words. your eyes, your questions....
Choose the words, practice them out.

Make some calcualtions what he would like to listen to.
