Hi does anyone know about coins?

I have a 1971 silver penny woundered if it was worth anything cant find anything in any books or on the net their are no dealers were I live so cant ask them thaks

No such thing as a Silver penny. Some one most likely painted it or dipped it.

In 1974 they made aluminum pennies as a trial, but from 1971 any silver penny must be something that someone applied to the coin after it left the mint.

Sorry, but there is no such thing as a SILVER 1971 U.S. penny.

They didn't make any silver 1971 U.S. pennies.
