Most religions don't think of it as a sin to judge others .. most actually see that as their mission .. you know .. following in the ways of god and all .... hell, it's all about judgement ... and judgement is all about hell.

OK, let me run this by you. The assumed foundation of Western philosophy is Socrates and MORE importantly Plato's version of Socrates. Next, Plato's student Aristotle thought slavery was fine and women are inferior. Western theologians then bent over backwards to make their view of God more acceptable within Aristotle's story about an Unmoved Mover (and of course Jesus who, like Socrates, has only had other writers to spin his life story and his physical death).

What a mess, eh? Think people around the world are ready for a reinterpretation of Socrates? Socrates was not seeking for a winner and loser and a zinger for a put down demanded by debate and the dialectic. Socrates was actually trying to find the truth through give and take between listener and speaker. Ooops - humility required there. The betrayal of the Senators, and Plato's dramatic story of a suicide were better for the stage, for entertaining the crowds. Plato was looking for a story. The actual truth does not play well on the stage - too mundane.

Ever see a parent saddened by the destructive habits and fighting of the children? That is God's situation.
