The word “interview” itself makes a person tense and nervous who needs to appear in the interview. It is normal human behaviour to become confused or get tensed but such things can be overcome with practice, learning from seniors and elders, thru own experience. At my time internet was not available. These days Internet is a rich source of information. U can learn many things about the interview by visiting the websites the links of which are given below. On some websites u will find questions also along with answers which are frequently asked and questions pertaining to ur requirement can also be found there provided u surf on them thoroughly and consciously. It will improve ur performance remarkably. If will infuse a high level of confidence in u. It will make u more frank and it will develop diplomatic qualities in u too. Overall, I would say that it will give an impetus to ur personality development.

You may find that interview techniques have moved away from hypothetical questioning. Be prepared with stories that demonstrate you experience in handling situations as outlined. Make sure your examples show how you have demonstrated leadership, teamwork, attention to detail, and responsibility/accountability. Good luck.

More trivially, choose an outfit that makes you feel positively about yourself, but is also professional and comfortable. Do something to relax before you go for the interview. Many people come in for interviews all tensed up, and they interview poorly because of it. Don't let these feelings overshadow your capabilities for the position.

Yeah - things change, don't they? But the interview itself doesn't. Just go in, be confident, stress the fact that you were in your previous position for 10 years and therefore it is obvious you are looking to stay. Be ready for any insane question. Like -- what did you like best and worst about previous job, what is your greatest accomplishment, etc. They ask questions that you aren't ever ready for --- I've been caught in some of the nutty questions. Some almost seem tricky -- try not to read too much into them. Best of luck to you.

Be on time
Be dressed appropriately
Know what your strengths are
Be prepared for questions like: why do you want to work here? Why are you leaving the old job? What is it about you that makes it hard/easy to work with? Some questions can be very intimidating - so have a strategy to be prepared. Ask them questions about the job, what they're offering, how their work environment is, how long people usually stick around before they move on, etc.... (or do that homework before you get there)
Above all, it's attitude: you're selling yourself, you want this company to "buy" you, so if you go in there CONVINCED that YOU are what they're looking for, then the job is yours. Just don't waffle and be wishy-washy. Good luck.

Prepare a self-introduction memo and some background information about the company, althought you don't know much about the company, you should believe yourself, you can!!!
