Nope, at least not with iTunes. It required Windows 2000 at least.

But there is software available that will do it:

I don't think Microsoft is still supporting Windows 98 are they? Upgrade soon and for so many reasons.

The ipod nano is compatible only with Windows 2000 and XP

if you have the disc drive of ipod then you should be able to transfer your songs..

the problem is windows 98 can't auto detect, as long as the desktop detect any hardware then it won't be any problem
