You could have started by adding your URL to your question (if it's content is not outside Yahoo's TOS).
Then I would advise you to read http://www.webmasterworld.com. You can get advices on anything from PPC (pay per click) to SEO (search engine optimisation) and learn a lot - it's where I leanr the most part of what I know and it's my job now to drive traffic to other people websites ;-)
Trying to find similar (but not competitive) sites is also a very good way of driving traffic to your site.
Finally adding a signature with your website address in all your emails can also help as most people send more than 10 emails a day.

Tell your friends about it, submit your site to the major search engines (e.g.: Yahoo!, Google), and if you are a member of various message boards sites, you can advertise there if they allow it.
