Because "finding Bin Laden" is a great way to spend a ton of our $ while we feel good about it. I mean for them it's a win-win situation. And if they tell us NASA needs more $ so they can go play in space, then we better give em more funding to "fix" all those problems right? The government needed a great idiot pres like GW so they could better learn to lie to the public in hopes of getting more money from us.--- it's all about getting more of our money--

Because we don't know where Bin Laden's Wrist watch is. If you've ever used a pair of binoculars to find your car keys you'll quickly understand what the problem there is. Satalites aren't suited to preform all investigations.
The reason we're crashing shuttles is becuas they're more complex than the moon lander. I Sat in the Appolo lander, it's less complex than the crappy honda trail bike I had as a kid. It was a disposable piece of technology that strongly resembled a tiny moble home with very thick windows. The Space shuttle is a 1980's piece of hardware run with 2000AD technology. We could surely build more reliable space vehicles but they're very expensive and we need to read Bin Laden's wristwatch so we can get the terror level down temporarilly.

First, you have to know where to look. Even if you were to assume that bin Laden was in Afghanistan (and that would be quite the assumption at this point), that's still a LOT of ground to cover. A brute force search of a country that size limiting yourself to high- detail pictures would take years. Second, even if you were to get a shot bin Laden would look like a small black (or white with some headgear) dot from space. How would you distinguish him from, say, a body double even if you could read his watch? Third, I'd imagine that bin Laden would be hiding underground, or in a cave somewhere.

No, the moon landing was not staged. Try to appreciate how difficult conspiracy theories are. They can stultify the speaker. As far a bin Laden, he moves at night, and he has many people around him who worship him almost like a god.

They don't want to find Bin Laden. If they did they couldn't continue the "War on Terror" and blame Iran for funding Al Queda. They'd have no scape-goat for taking over the world.

Osama Bin Laden has been R.I.P. since before 911, he died in a U.S. hospital in Dubai, S.A. from complications from a kidney failure! His Dr. was an American surgon, I think his name started w an A, something like Anderson. You will find the story on Rense!

Never ask your government to downsize on massive projects that honour human adventure and endevour. Half the problem with humanity these days is we are no longer striving for moon-walk size projects, and now spend all the wanton money on wars of avarice.
