Following my former question I must ask. What makes you love your country? I'm Belgian and I love it for the fact that we have the best beer and choccolate in the world, it has a good cuisine, some of the most beautifull historic cities, the people are friendly and open hearted and the girls are all o so lovely. What's your homeland and what makes you love it so (as little political inspired answers as possible please)

Ireland is my country and I love it because the people are a bit mad, slightly cowboyish, tend to live on the edge of the law ... I like that. I love the fact that the weather is completely unpredictable, but I don't like having to cope with that ... I love the way that things grow so well here, but then I have a problem with rabbits eating my herbs, oh well ... I love the way that the Irish are Pagan at heart, but pretend to everyone that they are Catholic or Protestant, including themselves ... and I love the way that the Irish took the English language and made it beautiful.

The UK? There is a constant drizzle - there maybe a drought over the south-east, but in the Lake District they have scattered showers, aka torrential downpours.
They still fry fish and chips in lard, which coats the roof of your mouth until you grab your next glass of luke-warm bitter.
Where else can you get a steak fit for the sole of your shoe when you asked for 'rare'?
Oh, those fond memories - waiting for trains, full buses, restaurants serving lasagne with a baked potato as a side dish!
Wish I'd never left.

I love My Country because it is simply beautiful, from the Kingdom of Celtic Kings(Kerry) to the Cliffs of mohar to the Giants causeway in Antrim. Ireland is amazing and is a heartland of Celtic mythology and history going back over 5000 yrs. Our history is also sad and revolutionary from the battle of the boyne to the Famine to our Independence.

The only bad thing about it is its Government who I'd have stripped naked , tarred and feathered through the streets of Dublin for there useless asses are not worthy of my tax payer money. Not to mention we are being over run with foreign muck who have no respect for my country or its Celtic heritage!

I adore my country (GUYANA) because of the beautyof land, the wonders of the waterfall and sea, the simple fact it really does take a villiage to raise a child, you can leave your front and back door open without fear of someone thiefing your stuff or hurting you and the ethnic diversity of the ppl there and i love the hot weather even when it rains i love to stroll in the rain

It's free baby.... and loves christians, in reality. It has a christian heart a proud and honest christian background, people are in need and willing, strong, honest, not led by the leash by politicians, discearning, not american, seem to have higher maoral status/standing than anywhere i know and have not yet let the lefty liberals takeover or the mardy right. Hate and accept the media in almost equal measure.

not led by the eu. independent.

cool weather and terrible football.

Good fun, simple but not dumb, open to the truth.

England is a great place and so are Wales Scotland and Ireland.

Great Britain, we don't have to hate our country because of the way the government behaves.

If we have decent weather there would be no need to travel to Spain etc.

We have so much history that is great. We have views that are fantastic and the food and drink (including water) are on the whole safe to enjoy.

I love my country the USA Because we have given hope to the human spirit. Not because we are the same but that we are changing to better ourselves as much as we trip and fall. My ancestors fought against the Americans in the revolutionary war, in fact , I had ancestors on both sides. We are a child with a big gun trying to know what is moral and correct and our obligations to our fellow man whether friend or foe. God bless us everyone.

USA here. I love my country in what it stands for based on freedom. We have many beautiful places to travel within our country. I learned to appreciate it even more while having lived in Germany for 6 years with my ex husband, while he was stationed in the military. Germany is beautiful itself but I just missed the USA

My country has a lot of variety. It has big cities; it has small farms. It has deserts and mountains and forests and open plains. Everywhere I go in my country is a little different from where I left. Also, we can buy your beer in my country. Cheers!!!

I love my Country very much all accept Toronto and the GTA only the worst of people live there and its filled with people who don't deserve to be called Canadians!.

The rest of the country is nice, clean, beautiful, filled with extremely nice and friendly people who gladly open doors for each other and always apologize even if we didn't do it. Just about everyone is treated equally.

Over all very nice place to live.
