I'm a 15 year old, and I'm in Year 11 over in N.I. I'm just about to start my GCSE's. And I'd like some extra money. I'm a shy person, so I get nervous talkin to people I don't know. I don't know what jobs a 15 year old boy or girl can get. Can anyone help me please?

Paper round - not many jobs available [legally] for under 16's.

Some places may give you evening or weekend work but not many would not include spekaing with people.

I'm a 26 y/o computer technician and even I don't know what I want to do for the rest of my life.

If ANYONE EVER tells you that by 15 years old you should know what you want to do for the rest of your life - it isn't true.

I have friends that have quit their job at the age of 26 and gone back to uni and succeessfully graduated with honours.

If you get to 16 and have no idea dont worry about it - it will come to you.

If you get to 26 and have never done a days work in your life - start thinking about it ;o)

Surely you can get a job in a newsagents or small shop. When I was that age I worked in a hairdressers as a general assistant, making tea+washing hair etc. Get free hair cuts+colours too. Or a waiter/waitress? You can apply for all sorts of jobs whenyuor that age-be careful though as you prob wont get paid much at all. So best to go into work where u get tipped too. Good luck x

I would suggest babysitting but that's what I did at age 15 and made good money. However, if you have a close friend who owns a business you might ask them for a job. Some owners will agree to allowing someone your age work.
Newspaper delivery is always a good job too.
Good luck.

Best job I ever had at 15/16 was working in a leisure complex / bowling alley. Pay was OK, you didn't have to be in a "customer-facing" job (some jobs were involved with the mechanics of keeping the bowling lanes running smoothly), free food from the on-site restaurant, decent breaks, and best of all - free games of bowling / pool / snooker / Q-zar at the end of every shift ...

Try your local shop or garage - you will know a few of the people who go in already.
