I am a constantly exhausted mother of two children, both under 3. I am also 6 weeks pregnant. I can never seem to get enough energy to enjoy my day or get through it without napping when the kids nap, which usually makes me feel worse. I want to find a way to get myself energized for the day and be able to accomplish something. I feel so tired and lazy all of the time even though there are so many things that I want to do. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

Sleep is the only solution for your problem try to sleep for at least 7hrs during the night also undisturb tell your hubby to take care for few days till you catch up. If your children are requring feed in the night then try to give it just before then go to sleep so that they too sleep max that is 4 to 5 hrs without disturbing you.

Dr's say at 3 or 4 in the morning our bone marrow produces fresh blood you should be fast asleep during the time to wake up fresh or energized in the morning.

you said you are pregnant you need good sleep for you and your kids good health.

Why don't you get together with other mothers and allow the kids to play together in someone's house. That way, all of you can chit chat, enjoy yourselves. Furthermore, you have extra pairs of eyes to watch over your kids.

Same goes to the other mothers.

Another option is you may want to send them to a play centre. That way, they will use all their energy playing with the other kids and when they get back, they will probably nap and you can read a book, listen to the music.

And while they are at the play centre, you may want to take a walk. Meet up your friends for lunch or breakfast or brunch or just bring them over for some chit chat sessions.

Good luck!

If you can, try and wake up a little bit earlier and go for at least a 20-30 min walk and do a 10 min stretch to help awaken you as well. When I'm especially tired I do this and it makes a bit difference through out the day and like another person said make sure you are taking vitamins.
