I've already bought my kids' Halloween costumes, the Thanksgiving menu is set, I've finished my Christmas shopping, addressed my Christmas cards and have made my list for my New Year's Party. Now I'm just waiting for Hallmark to put Valentine's on sale.

What about you?

That level of whatever you call it would disrupt my life completely. Whether at home or work, if I knew what was going on more than a day ahead of time, I would probably explode. Sometimes only a few hours. But you knew that. And I am over 21. "Achieve" sounds like a noise one makes during a particularly violent sneeze.

Well, if I were, I guess I'd be helping people do their 1090's over the phone in under 15 minutes or creating anecdotes for biological WMD's or solving the world's family and marital problems in one session...

but I'll settle for just being a glorified lightbulb mechanic.

I did not however plan on having children like the ones I have now and being able to provide them with the stable and loving home they are blessed with- all things considered. So if that means I'm an overachiever, I'll just be sure to sign up for that course next year too!

there are children with no food, clothes, or parents. since you have so much why not give some back to the community. that should occupy your time for a few days. Having already purchased costumes and christmas gifts doesn't mean over achiever to me. It means RICH!

Nope, I'm lazy at those types of things. My mom's an over-achiever and it can get really scary sometimes. My dad and I are either going to have to medicate her or I'm going to need therapy when I get older.

I just like to make sure I get good grades in school. I'm more about enjoying life as it's happening.

I'll admit I'm very organised a genetic flaw passed over from both my meticulous parents.
Plus my skills come in handy in my line of work.
Although, I don't think I'm that much of an "over-achiever" in other aspects in my life.
There's room for mistakes, imperfections and mishaps once in awhile. I just wish I didn't overthink it first *damn* lol.

(They have medication for that ya know.)

Where work is concerned, I'm very analytical and plan very carefully with a great deal of attention being paid to details and what not.

Where my life is concerned...eh, not so much. Some of the best things that have ever happened to me were not planned at all. I like to plan things...not into a rigid-this-cannot-be-altered sorta way, but into a plan that plans for spontaneity...or the possibility of that occurring. Sometimes it's fun to just let the little details take care of themselves however they desire.

I'm sitting here looking at Christmas presents for not so distant relatives that I haven't delivered yet. (from last Christmas) Does that tell you anything?
