hmmm well i guess it depends.
Some people cant speak words even if they want to say things, some people just cant. It also depends maybe he has said it to someone in the past and they didnt love him or he really got hurt, maybe this time he wants to be 100% certain that he means it. Maybe his not that type to say it. Does he do it in other ways. I dunno need more info to analyze situation , sorry.

To me it would be a worry. If he hasn't said I love you after 3 years of dating.... then I would say he probably never will. Ask him how he feels... maybe he just isn't open with his feelings, especially if he has been burned in the past.

He might be hiding something from you or maybe another affair because if he really loves you he should be able to say it more often.if he doesn't say it then he doesn't love you and there also some men in that age they even act like it they don't have any feelings.just don`t let yourself be hurt by him,consider him like a friend and not a soul mate/lover.

Thats not a good thing, should have at least happened in the first year. Sounds like he is only around for something else.

to me they all said "i love u" much earlier than 3 years of relationships. so i came to conclusion that it is not a "male" thing. males have tongue too

3 years - that seems a long time. Everyone is different and some people find it hard to 'say' - but have you asked him about it?

He hasnt said it because he dosnt love you ,he is probably just useing you for sex.

Some just don't find the words necessary. Do you feel like he loves you? If you need to hear the words...tell him!

I'd be concerned and put out. Hate to be harsh with u girl, but if he hasn't said it yet, he probably doesn't.
If you feel brave, take a risk and tell him you love him!
