Infinite

Well, considering there are millions of galaxies; too many to count. Even the scientist have to guesstimate. And there are billions upon trillions of stars in a single galaxy; I think the number of stars in the universe in infinite. They can not be counted or guessed at. Stars are being born and blowing everywhere around the universe. That number would be impossible. Only God would know.

The number of stars in the universe.
Astronomers have published a new estimate of the total number of stars in the universe.

the total number of stars in the universe is roughly 100 billion x 100 billion.

That's 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars, 10 thousand, billion, billion. Properly known as 10 sextillion. And that's a very conservative estimate

There is no way to tell. Since most starts are countless light years away, we can only know how many stars there were that many years ago.

But it's pretty safe to assume it's a large number.

Imagine the biggest number you can think of. Double it.

That's not even close! Not even a fractional bit. Not a nail paring of the number.

The number of stars in the galaxy is in the millions, and their are millions upon millions of galaxies THAT WE HAVE SEEN!

If you want to feel tiny, consider the size and scope of the universe. Personally, I'll study bugs ... gives me a sense of being "large."

Too many to count. Gosh, even just the number of stars in Hollywood and Bollywood is mind numbing.

well, if u start counting them at the speed of a 100 every minute then it shall tke you 2000 years to count all of them.

i hope that u can now imagine their population.

n yes it will be for only our galaxy. the milky way.

if u wanna know for all them it may vary coz all the galaxies dont have the same number of stars.

70 sextillion (7 x 10^22) is the best estimate to date.

I will invite you to a deserted remote mountain top. We'll count them together every night and we'll stay there for as much as it needs :) ;)
