There will be more suspects throughout the next several years. There will always be someone not willing to let this one go unsolved. Look at the Jon Benet case. The case may never be solved, but it will definitely never die.

I don't think it will ever be solved. But Aruba is considered to be well-known as a place to kidnap women and girls to ship off to Central and South America to work in the brothels. Apparantly the hotel/casino bartenders will drug drinks served to some women to make them easier to cooperate. I think it's very possible that something along those lines may have happened to her.
If she was a runaway, she would have been spotted already. If not deported back to the States for overstaying the scheduled length of her trip.

I don't believe that she ran away she didn't have any issues to run from. i believe that they had the killer and set him free. just as a lot of these people are getting on these cruises and getting drunk and mysteriously disappearing whereas you think they are thrown off the boats the vacationers are getting snatched up and mysteriously disappearing. i believe that she was taken advantage of and some one got scared, and i believe it was more than one person. and yes what ever you do n the dark will surface. her blood is still crying out as ables did.someone will find her. just as they did with the Ramsey case. even though it has been a while i still don't think that is the man. he has a lot of serious issues but i don't know it is too weird. he wasn't even there Christmas his ex says i think he is that drained to where he wants to take the blame. he already had character issues

After watching all the news footage about her, sadly I believe she was killed and tossed into the ocean. Nature will make sure there is no body recovered that could give clues to who killed her. Some one knows what really happened, and I feel so bad for her parents. Not knowing who, what, where, when, how and WHY could drive someone crazy. Her mother seems to have some strength from some divine place, because if that was my child, I'd be a basket case...

No I don't think we will ever know, Interesting a few answers mentioned the "white slave trade" I thought that too, in some oil sheiks harem.
Definitly not buried on that island , if dead in the ocean.
