No. The Pakistan team were out of order to stay in the dressing room after the tea interval. That said, the umpires should never have let this reach the point of forfeiting the match.

The question of ball tampering raises issues concerning defamation and natural justice that go beyond cricket. However, the Pakistan cricket team will need to pursue this through the cricketing appeal procedures and quite possibly through the English courts, where on the published facts they would appear to have a good case.

Inzy is a decent man and he believes that DH has it in for Pakistan because of their previous issues, BUT he should have protested AT THE TIME, not continue play until tea. Neither he or the umpires have come out of this situation looking good. It is destroying cricket. Cricket is a game, not a political platform. Even ODI's may be affected which is getting ludicrous!! DH needs to be removed from Pakistan games in future.

Its just that too much has gone into the fat man's fat little head, that he thinks he can protest by boycotting a test match the way his college mates protested by boycotting classes. He is not fit for international cricket, and mind you, I am not pointing a finger at his cricketing abilities. He may be quite a good bat, but this nature of taking the rules and laws in to your hands---thats kinda audacity to the extreme.

No, if he was right he should have went ou there played the game and protest with a formal complaint to the ICC. Instead he choose to hide and use the media and his home crowd support to support his argument and continue the fight creating a monster and further fragmenting the ICC.

No - Inzamam is not the arbiter of the laws, the umpire is. Any player choosing to play sport is agreeing to abide by the rule of the referee or the umpire.

for me no he was penalised 5 runs so what you finish the game then protest cricket is a spectator sport and the punters deserved better as it could have been a nervous finish he acted like a little boy I'm not playing if you don't give my ball back
