Finally, someone understands what I thought from day one.
Although I personally hate Cena and Hogan's characters, what differs them to Batista is that they do have a natural charisma. Cena is the ultimate weapon for women and kids to get into WWE, and Hogan, well, he's the "Amercian Hero" who never, EVER loses.
All these guys have limited movesets of like, 5 moves, but what the other two haven't done is blatantly copy some other star. Although I know its come from management orders, the Batista character, unless you've missed out on SummerSlam this year, is starting to "expand" his moveset with none other than Goldberg's stuff. This is the dumbest thing WWE management does, force "power" guys these days to either use Goldberg's or Lesnar's moves. Notice how almost everyone uses the 'Berg Spear now? Lashley, anyone?
Anyways getting back on track. Batista is trying too hard to break the mold of "all muscles no brain" stereotype that he fits all too well in. If he actually had his own character people would start to like him.
And finally, he can't fight real well in real life, because he's a body builder. Body builders don't get taught hand-to-hand combat. He was only ever taught how to "entertain".

Well half of the WWE superstars cant wrestle. Im talking about Batista, Cena, the legend himself Hulkamania, and more. Those guys are just based on persona. They keep them in the storylines because thats what people will pay for. Thats what the people who dont know **** about wrestling likes. The ones that can wrestle dont get any real spot light.

dude you are so wrong. i think batista is awesome in every aspect. he's a gr8 wrestler and entertainer and the injury you referred to as a "booboo" was a severe tricep injury that any other wrestler would have been lucky to come back from. fyi, he's not the only who has been injured wrestling mark henry, and when he was in evolution he was bein held back. plus, dont make him sound like a bad person because he divorced his cancer-surviving wife- ever heard of the word mutual? btw, i think he's cute and hott as hell!
oh yeah- BATISTA IS A CHARACTER- David Bautista is the man who plays him- so when u say he thinks he's all smart and crap who ur dissing is a person made up by the writers.

he can't wrestle but power alone is enough to wow the fans
plus his muscles shape is the best in the wwe...that is assuming he never took steroids to pump up his guns..
but would you rather see people who can wrestle be champion? finlay? or kennedy? cause those people are just plain boring
i also hate kennedy and king booker's gimmicks
wwe's high point was before survivor series 01, everything after suxked

batista may not have a major move set like benoit or kurt angle or talk like the rock or chris jericho, but like those guys he gives 100% percent, you can see the passion coming out of him...he is not like the goldbergs who come for a check and leave just as quickly...he may not be the best, but at least he is trying to help the wwe.
