Las Vegas is as simple as a very large street full of entertaiment:
Betting, food, betting, food and... that's it. The only thing you must do: Visit to the Grand Canyon, a night waching Circu De Solei (impresive all around the world) and calling one of those telephone numbers you will be given in the street (you will see).
My recommendation: Drive, America is great to rent a car and just get lost. From las Vegas to Los Angeles and then to San Francisco through the coast, that's something worth to do!!!!

The palms buffet is affordable - lunch is $9.ninety 9 a guy or woman - and with young babies, you prefer to fill them up. (i think of dinner there is approximately $14.ninety 9) normally, the hotel foodstuff courts are particularly low priced - via fact they choose you cash interior the slots or on the tables. otherwise, you're looking a schelp off the Strip to a place like InNOut or some thing, and while you're no longer renting a motor vehicle, the cab fare will offset the cheapness. yet, while you're renting a motor vehicle, power down sundown highway, or Flamingo, or Tropicana, and you may locate very almost something you like interior of 5 miles of the Strip. additionally, as somebody else reported, consume on the later ingredient for lunch (we call it "lupper" -lunch/supper) and you will pay lunch fees. Then, you may in all probability injury out with a lighter dinner - even appetizers as dinner.

The cheapest accomodation is "off" strip. About 2 blocks away.
The Strip hotels tend to be more expensive, but good.
A good Free entertainment is Harras hotel. Toby Keiths "I love this bar & Grill" (Country Music)
Lots of other varied entertainment at a cost. I went to see Celine Dion at Caesars Palace. Really good, but $100.

I would recommend not going to Vegas for 2 weeks.... honestly its too long to be there... its expensive to be in Vegas.... and if you have no money its a miserable experience. But if you really really want to be there that long. do your drinking in the casinos... because its free as long as you sit there and gamble, stay in a hotel off the strip... or at circus circus... because thats pretty cheap..
