some times the chirp cause there 9 volt battery is low.
another reason they chirp is over a period of time using there wings a lot they chirp and need to be oiled sometimes
or the break pads or landing pad on the bottom of the birds feet chirp when they are wearing thin
cause the cat got his tongue
I loved that show "C.H.I.R.P.S" oh that was "C.H.I.P.S." hahaha

They are territorial. They are making it known to other birds that they are declaring their boundaries.
