What does the e-mail look like?
If you search about it on google, you may find other users that have also been scammed by the same person.

This has happened to my mom once.
Luckily, I searched about it on google, and I found out it was a scam.

Usually scam emails appear URGENT, have bad grammar, and make you disposit an amount first and promises to give the money later.

Since you have already given the money:

1. Search on google if it really is a scam.
2. Immediately stop sending money.
3. Report the scammer some way.

Here's a great site all about stupid scams:

GOOD LUCK!

Oh dear.
Poor you. You have lost your money and will continue to receive similar emails and you'll know what harrassment means. They could get very nasty too.
Never send any money to anyone via Western Union, or anyone in Africa. They are liars and cheats of the very lowest sort.
Live and learn though. Just don't part with any more cash.
Block their emails and inform your provider. Get help if you don't know how.
Get another email account in a different name and change your passwords regularly.
Just delete their emails without even opening them, that way you won't get upset by their threats.

Don't you know there's never something for nothing? Kiss your £500 goodbye. Close your bank account immediately! Now that they have your personal information, they will clean you out! (If they haven't already)...

poppy don't hold your breath, your £500 has already been placed in someone else's bank account, to send money to a company you don't recognise is just plain naivety, and if she said you would get your money returned she would say that wouldn't she and add "its in the post" they are all con merchants

Why would anyone fall for this crap??? I must answer at least one of these types of questions per day. You cannot get something for nothing. If you have won or inherited anything, you do not have to send any type of payment for it. You have been scammed.....What else can we say????

The question is so badly phrased that it's likely you wee dumb enough to get scammed.

Try reading what you've written before you submit it.
