What's Myspace all about?

My Space is brilliant for discovering new music, new artists and new friends.

Like anything on the internet, it's how you use it. Yes there is a very small amount of people who give it a bad name, generally if you follow the general rules (i.e. don't give out your phone number or email address to anyone you don't know) then it's fine.

I'd also recommend your virus definitions are up to date and you do a scan every week. If you are using My Space or not!

If you're honest with your partner in the first place, perhaps ask them if you can put your profile online before you actually do, then I see no problem.

No it's supposed to be a community. promoting stuff, networking, making friends. But primarily it's about making money! news International bought it for over $500,000,000 and plastered with advertising to try to make money. Since then there has been a power surge, hackers, a virus, a power outage and a mysterious technical problem. Plus a crazy 16 year old girl in Jamacia. It was mainly for the beautiful people of California who would have 3000 friends on and invite them all to beach parties! lol Then we English went on and they gave us a server in England.

Myspace is a place where you can make friends or keep in contact with exciting friends. It also lets you place your interest in life in the form of blogs and you can look up music to play on your page. I have fun on myspace myself because i can talk too friends. If i wanted a date i would go out around where i live. So don't worry about the freaks you can always delete them and put them on your ignore list. It is a fantastic music and arts networking site.

It links people from all over the world into each other and helps lessen the need for rich labels to exploit bands and musicians as they can do a lot of it for themselves now through Myspace.

I personally despise my space. its like high school "ooh look at me look at me. I have THIS many friends and Im so great and this is what we all do and today Ive changed my hair and now I have a boyfriend" thats all it does
allows you to show off your supposed greatness and makes others feel inadequate
