I am starting high school this year, and I just don't want to have to go back to school. I hate school so much. I love to learn, but the stress of being around people and always being nervous makes me sick. Always having projects due and tons of homework adds to that feeling of stress and sickness. Being in social situations makes me think about suicicide, and I just feel like going home and hiding. I have no idea what I should do. I just cant deal with this stress of a new town, I just moved, and not being able to be around people. Homeowrk overwhelmes me, there is just waaay to much of it. I am in all honors classes too, so my homework basically doubles, plus we move at a much faster pace. Please if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
By the way, I would never commit suicide, it's just thoughts of it.

I am right along side of you on the NOT WANTING SCHOOL TO START! LOL
Sounds to me you might have some sort of depression setting in. Have your parents/caregiver make an appointment with your local Mental Health Clinic for an evaluation.
My 14 yr old daughter & 12 yr old son have depression.

First, I can promise you that high school is alot better than middle school. There are so many groups of people, so its easier to find where you'll fit in. Maybe your friends will be older than you. You'll switch classes enough that it'll be multiple grades in some of your classes, not just one. I know Honors is harder, I did Honors.
First, homework. If you need help, check about tutoring programs at your school. But since you are Honors, I'm guessing its just the heavy courseload, right? So do the work as its assigned instead of procrastinating. I used to drive my Mom nuts cause I'd wait till the night before, then stay up till 2AM working on a huge paper due the next morning. So do it on time and it'll be easier.
Social. You need to figure out why you feel this way. Have you always done this? Do you move alot? Have you ever asked your parents to get you a therapist to talk to? Take deeper breaths when you are in crowded areas. Make friends as you can, and work on chatting naturally with them. Its a skill. Not everyone is born a social butterfly. Alot of us had to work on conversation skills. My husband was horrid about social and public speaking until his job required it. Now he can get up in front of a group and talk without any problems. So see if your school has a public speaking class or debate team. Getting out of your comfort zone might just help you overcome your fears.
Stress. Do you excercise, walk, or run? If not, you need to start doing that. Not to stay fit, but for the chemical benefits of excercise. It releases chemicals in your brain that help you feel good, relax, and de-stress. So if you have a rough day aty school, throw on your sneakers and go walk for 30 minutes or run a few times around the block. It should start helping you feel better within a week. Its not a cure for depression (if you have that), but it will help.
Otherwise, just do your best. That is all your parents expect of you. Don't slack off just because its harder than last year. Honors is great preparation for College, so use it as such. Join a few activities if you can. Things like swim team, track, art, yearbook. Just see what your school offers. The more you put yourself around people, the more you'll open up. I know moving is hard, but its not the end of the world. Just be yourself and enjoy.

well first of all, get out of honors classes. if you can handle the stress, then it shouldnt be given to you.
I would like to say, I am going into highschool as a freshman this year too. I am excited to meet new people because i dont really have any friends right now. I am also scared of the homework and projects and I know that starting this year, my grades are going to be put on my college applications. I just use all the positives to outweigh the negatives. I know that if I try my best Ill get through it. also, if homework stresses you out so much, you can usually talk to your teachers and the school counselor to maybe minimize the homework you have. about the social situations, just try to be open to people. if someone introduces themself, then tell them your name. if they say hi, say hi back. you dont have to go above and beyond or go out of your way to talk to them, but at least acnowledge their presence and respond. I wish you good luck and if you want to chat just send me a message. im usually always on.

Try taking a drama class. Acting might help you find ways to break out of your shell. Schoolwork overwhelming? Take a couple of less challenging classes like art, woodworking or auto mechanics. Stay in school!
Why do you feel pressured to overachieve? Your parents love you because you're you, not because you're a genius student.
Ye poor lad, I'd set them on their bums and color my hair purple just before school starts and give them something to worry about besides your schoolwork. They need to stop living their lives through you and see you as a worthy individual. Keep up your schoolwork for you. - You can be a genius and still have wild colored hair, odd clothes and a ring in your nose. Find something to back them off a bit. If they can't be supportive, a mum like myself always has room for a son like you!

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/QTFpq
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.

The thoughts of suicide are a sure sign of Depression. They also mean that the Depression is bad enough that you need professional help. I'm glad that you would never kill yourself, that is a positive sign. You may also have Social Anxiety Disorder but you need a psychologist and/or a psychiatrist to see you in order for you to know for sure.
There are medications that can help you with your problems and
they need to be prescribed by a doctor. The ideal thing would be for you to see a psychiatrist. He/she will know for sure what is wrong and can prescribe medication that will help you.

oo...i remember that feeling so well
nothing is ever fair...and when life feels the most unfair, something comes along that's even worse.
you really need to tell your parents how you are feeling about all of this. If they do nothing to help you talk to the guidance counselor at school.
if you don't share the way you feel with somebody you will never get better...and if you don't focus on overcoming this you will never overcome
good luck
