Medical training is a long and strenous process which requires a lot of physical and mental resilience. I believe that male and female are equally up to the task. However, many talented female doctors decide to not pursue certain specialties, or not pursue any and some even quit medicine because they, just like most people, want to get married, have kids and family. Trying to juggle all that is a near impossibility. Those who manage are some of the most brilliant doctors you will come across.

I doubt that you intended this, but your question has an implication that lady doctors are less capable than men doctors, and that is false. Men doctors might get more work load than some female doctors, but that is probably just because there are currently more male doctors than female doctors, but thankfully that is changing. I don't care what gender my doctor is as long as they are good doctors.
