All religion ever was, is, and will be is a scam: It makes people afraid of something that doesn't exist and then collects money by telling people how to preotect themselves from it.

The only time religion is concerned with the poor is at the collecton plate or when it needs large numbers to do something.

"Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us." James 1:27.

That pretty much sums it all up right there.

give a person a fish feeds him a day. teach same person to fish and feed him forever. giving money to the poor burdens the church to feed everyone. teach everyone how to give, feeds a lot more hungry everywhere.
