Dont know what you look like but I wouldnt shave!!! Shaved chests are for models and gays!! lol

No, I like hairy chested men- more manly.
And dont shave your pubes either.
But wax your back and shoulders. Theres a fine line between man and ape.

In the complex conglomorate of human body system-male or female-there is a common minimum program of hairs of different textures developing on body on attaining physical maturity.That man is conscious of time and acts or transforms according to it is an innate programming of nature which, in my opinion, is not hitherto scientifically or otherwise studied in depth but only the skindeep beauty industry is running by billions world wide. Man may be macho by muscles but weaker and unstable chromosomally compared to women. Hence nature probably compensates by throwing up more bodily hairs to protect skin against malignant erosions or spontaneous emotions. So leave it to nature and your chest but keep a kind and open heart to worldly vicissitudes of life.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Why not get some hair clippers and cut it real short at first?
That way you get to see what it looks like because it looks odd on some people, and there isn't that 'drive you crazy' itch for days on end.
See how it looks then make your decision on if you want to go the whole hog, if it looks stupid your back to normal in a few days.

Don't shave it =/ Even though most people, even doctors, say that shaving doesn't make the hair more in number or darker, it has made mine and most friends'. So shave it if you dare, or collect money to laser them =)

Ew..don't shave it! You'll get all scratchy stubble and stuff.
If you really have to lose the rug, wax it....although I've always quite liked hairy chests myself.

I'm with Bugaboo. I like hairy chests but then I don't like ape men so watch the back and shoulders.

What is the point-grow more!! Hairy backs /necks are a turn-off-wax that.

If you don't like it, take it off. But not by shaving. Use wax. Shaving leaves stubbles and can cause rashes.
