as a friend you have a right to be angry with him/her so let 'em know! tell them, "dammit I was there! where were you?!" and then let them know that you won't be doing them any favors any time soon. (keep the friendship though)

Hi.
I would choose Option A. But i will also make sure to know the reason that made her do so. I won't drop to any conclusion until she clears the matter as it may also be that some urgent problem cropped up. But i don't think any best friend can do something like that unless some problem occurred and she was thus helpless.

Why does he want you to take off but he isn't willing to? If you are underage..do not do this! If you are older, ask yourself, if I take off, is this going to get me into trouble, possible effect my grade/job? If you have responsibilities, then be responsible and do not blow off school or work. If he is a true friend for a long long time and gives you a good explanation, then if it seems harmless and you can help..then do it. But make sure there would be no consequences to you.

Damn, why don't you ask him what is so important??? Is he your boss or signing your pay checks? Dust off your balls, dude, and tell the jerk to schedule his "important projects" on your day's off is he wants help. Otherwise, you have a life without all of his crisis bull*sh*t. Be a man!

It's really up to you, not us, because we don't know you or your friend. But from what you say he doesn't sound reliable, and if you can't trust him do you really want to go on being friends with him?

He isn't respecting you and taking advantage of you. Tell him how you feel. Tell him how you feel and that you will continue to be his friend but you will not let him take advantage of you like this anmore.
