My second job interview... but I was the one that was in control... The guy interviewing me was so stupid... he didn't even know any safty precautions... I was even dressed smater than him and looked like the manager, and HE looked like the student... lol And I pointed out all the things they were doing wrong...

This could be my best or worst interview, depending on how you look at it. This was my first interview out of college and I had yet to realize that a B.A. was not exactly the equivalent of a free pass into the working world.
It was an entry level position, which I felt entitled me to be creative and interesting with my answers. So, when the interviewer asked me what my dream job would be, I thought for a bit, then answered with a big grin " A rock star!"
My friends still laugh about that clueless interview. I am sadly now more conservative and practical with my interview answers.

Last year, for the post of program coordinator in my faculty. I didn't want the job, I had been persuaded to go for it to demonstrate some ambition, so I was struggling to get the balance right; I didn't want to do well enough to be offered the post, but I didn't want to make a complete fool of myself either.
In the end I got very nervous and tongue-tied, it became obvious that I hadn't done any preparation or research, and I found the whole thing really embarrassing - all the more because I was being interviewed by people I work with!
On the other side of the fence, I once had to interview a friend, and that was awful. I knew she was capable of doing the job, but her interview was pathetic, she just giggled and clammed up. Under our equal opportunities policy, I had to judge candidates by their performance at interview, not by what I knew of their character. I think I found it more stressful than she did!

I had an interview at a daycare that I later found out neglected the children who had special needs. They would let them sit in a corner all day and not socialize or have fun. They didn't talk to them or do anything with them until it was almost time for the parents to pick up - then they would have to do things to make it look like they were having fun. Thankfully I never got a job there.

Worst Interview I've ever been on was for a position with a bank, during the introduction hand shake one of the partners gave me a firm grip and tried massaginh my hand with his thumb. During the interview he asked if I lived alone and whether my daughters were natural births, I told him I didn't see the why such personal information was relavent.
Later found out that the girl they did hire brought him up on charges of sexual assult six months after she was given the job.

Hi the last interveiw, i had a panick attack half way through and i went blank and couldnt even answer the question, the manager had to say calm down and start again. When i got out i burst into tears because i felt like a right dive. As Ive never had a panick attack in my life. Oh well theres a first for everything i suppose.

once at an interview i was kept waiting for an hour until the lady interviewer was ready
then this really drab middle-aged snooty woman came out
and the questions she asked, made me more embarrassed than her because they were soooo stupid nothing at all to do with the job.
she had no idea about the process
finally i said to her that i changed my mind about the job and i thanked her for her time and left.

girl there took me on a tour, and there was a very very high
ladder and walkway I would have to use on a daily basis. Well,
I happen to be really afraid of heights, she wanted me to walk
up there with her !!! lol I said no thanks,....I'm outta here... I felt
kinda like a chicken sh*t....but, I just wanted to get out of there!!
