It seems to me that the Koran has nothing new to tell us about spiritual truth that is not already revealed (with far greater depth) in the pages of the Holy Bible. But if this is not true perhaps a Moslem can show us such a new spiritual truth from the Koran which was not already revealed to Jews and Christians. I have found none and have studied in depth.

1400 years ago it was stated in the Koran (Quran, the book of Islam) that angels travel in one day the same distance that the moon travels in 1000 lunar years, that is, 12000 Lunar orbits / Earth day. Today we know that if we remove the Earth-moon system from the gravitational field of the sun all observers will see the speed of light outside gravitational fields to be equivalent to 12000 Lunar orbits / Earth day.

The Quran, Bible and the Torah are from the same source. To give a brief answer to your question, The Quran re-emplasises the unity/oneness/... of God that has been lost in the modern interpretation of the Bible with concepts such as the Trinity.

Anyone who thinks that the written Koran was around before the Old Testament was recorded, should think again.
Of course, we have seen several times that Muslims who use this Q & A take the comical view that everyone from Abraham to Jesus was a Muslim.
I'm surprised they don't claim Einstein, Ben Gurion, and Ehud Olmert, for good measure

the quran is dated back when the prophet muhummad became a prophet. everythign related to those times apply now, although society is changing, our religion beliefs should stil be the same. Anyway, hope these articles help... sorry if its not what u r lookin 4. Btw, Islam is a religion, and the followers of islam are muslims :), not islamic. The quran is originally written in arabic but can be translated in other languages, e.g english.

the only way u could have studied it in depth is if u can read arabic cuz the only real qurans are the ones written in arabic
