Presents half the time are boring. Especially when you get a bit older you've got evrything already..
So Id say, dress up the bedroom in white fairy lights/red ones, put a bunch of flowers and a bottle of champers on the bed. Candles to the side of your bed. Run her a bath with rose petals in, lit candles all round.
Food wise-up to you, you no what she likes, should imagine she'd be happy with takeout after this.
This way not only does this benefit her, but you get rewarded. Simple-course should get her little pressie-necklace/earrinhs/undies. Good luck

Get home early before she is there - cook her dinner (if you are on a tight budget) have fresh flowers on the table for her. Get her a pair of earing - those alway go over well (and prices can be from rather reasonable to extremely hi). The main problem I have pal with answering you question is how much money are we talking about here - do you have kids at home. If they are old enought to help you in this. I have no problem helping out a fellow guy with his problems - but dude - more details. If you got 1k to drop makes a big difference than if its under $50 to drop.

I think always it's not what you buy but what you do to make her feel special. Pack the house full of candles & rose petals and make a picnic on the lounge / bedroom floor with a blanket, nice snacks and a bottle of wine...dress sexy and buy her flowers and give this to her when she comes home. Put off you phones and lock the doors for the night and spend a whole night giving her special attention...you might even want to throw a massage into the mix...I promise you if you give in this way you will receive MUCH in return....

Congrats on maintaining the stereo-type! Get her a dozen roses, make reservations at a nice restaurant, give her some earrings or a bracelet after dinner (NOT cheap sh*t), then pop the cork on a decent bottle of wine when you get home. Maybe you'll have an addition to the family in 9 months!

Buy her only something that she can use for herself, like robe and slippers. It's not hard, you'll just have to remember her likes and dislikes for a moment, go look at her wardrobe, get the size. Notice the colors of everything in each department. Like pants, size, what's her favorite color. Dresses what's her size in those, what's all the colors she has in dresses, don't get those colors, night gowns if that's what you want, don't get those colors, get something different. Don't get things for the house, it won't feel like a true gift to here; when you have to turn around and cook hubby/children dinner that night on it. She may be a little resentful of a gift like that.

Nothing like waiting till the last minute, Dude....bring her flowers and tell her to get dressed cause you're taking her out to dinner. Make all of the plans. She will love it. If you really want to make brownie points, buy her a nice ankle bracelet you can give her after dinner...one with a little heart on it. Women love that s*hit.

1)The greatest present you can give her is by telling her you love her (really make sure it is truthful, genuine, and coming from the heart).
2)Make her day very special (treat her like a queen)
3)Take her to a mini-getaway (a place which is very special to both of you).
4)Have a gorgeous dinner overlooking a beautiful natural landscape with soothing waterfalls and all
5)End the special day with the ultimate of intimacy.

Normally married women like to be given gifts to show affection. so get her something like flowers in her favourite colour, a necklace, a bracelet. Jewellery is something most women like.
Maybe get her a trip to a day spa or a romantic meal at a restaurant somewhere.
