If you click on the web search box, you can get a history of the web sites or key words that you have or someone else has already entered. I want to delete this history.

You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.

You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok.

To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok.

Click on the down arrow button at the left side of search bod when you will find various options. Click on clear search history which will clear history of sites you have searched by that particular search engine. However, if you want to clear history of all the websites visited by you, click on Tools, Internet Options, clear history.

IE: Tools>Internet Options>General tab> Clear History

Google Toolbar: Google Button (left of window) Clear search history.

Yahoo Toolbar: Pencil>Clear Search history. Also the down arrow in search window>Options>Clear search history.

You can also go into Toolbar options in the pencil and uncheck the box for search history.

Yahoo Browser: Tools>Browser Options>Clear Search and Clear URL

Go to Tools at the top, then to Internet Options. On the Content tab, click on AutoComplete and clear the forms.

Find the "Options" menu in the box and it will allow you to clear history and not have it saved when you search
