You can put any band you like.
I personally think rock bands, heavy metal bands and that sort of music is the best as it actually sounds good! and not like it is being sung to.

The Flaming Lips - Lead singer in a giant bubble walking across the crowd, confetti raining down, members of the audience up on stage in costumes and of course great GREAT music. The experience borders on religious.

Iron Maiden and Judas Priest were both f*cking mind-blowing. Actually, I don't think anyone can top Maiden.
That said, one of the best shows I've ever seen was Hank Williams III. An hour and a half of pure country and an hour and a half of thrash metal...broken glass all over me. The musicianship was incredible and I had a damn good time.

Hawkwind at Stonehenge in 1984,though that was more the lack of police presence and associated trouble,though they did play for a very long time

The Wildhearts are brilliant live. But in terms of giving it all you have I would say antiproduct. Although having said that, I really, really enjoyed seeing the Supersuckers. But then Therapy are nifty on stage too. Well perhaps I should say that seeing Devin Townsend blew me away. Thing is, Metallica were pretty damn fantastic too. Maybe I should just stick to one and say that seeing Little London was probably the best thing I have ever seen.

I love going to see a band called "The Feedback Band" they are amazing they only play in my local pubs but they are amazing. I saw Eminem in 2003 he was fantastic.
