80 was not a good decade for fashion - puff ball skirts, leg warmers, flurescent coloured clothes, leggins, bat-winged tops, stone-wash denim, punks, eye-shadow up to eye-brows, perms etc...the best examples would be to look at pictures of people like Madonna and Boy george (Culture Club) from the 80s as they were a good representation of what was in fashion at the time.

Women: BIG hair, shoulder pads, brightly colored, sequins, sweater dresses, wide belts, leggings, HUGE earrings, cheapy plastic tacky, powersuits, off the shoulder sweatshirts, poofy sleeves and skirts
Women were all about dressing for power which was supposed to be the point of shoulder pads.

Well, there were several
One was denim.....denim jeans, jackets etc.
Then there was short jackets with BIIIIGGGGG shoulder pads
Also, think Miami Vice, pink t-shirts with white suit jackets (with sleeves rolled up)
