But why would you want to imagine a world without the sound of the sea... or the chirping of birds in the early morning... or of an orchestra playing Mozart... or silence instead of the sound of Coldplay...??

It won't.
Even of everyone stopped making a sound the world and the universe make their own sound. It's called aum (or om) which is the sound it's supposed to make. Apparently it's the same sound that people hear when meditating and they've cut themselves off from everything else.

When everyone and everything that is capable of making noise just stops doing so. However, in my opinion, this is not very likely to happen, if at all.
