What do you think about the latest findings on "Dark Matter"?

I read recently although they have known about dark matter, they could not really acknowledge it actually existed, until now. Apparently there is still lots of conversations going on about it. What do you think?

Isn't Dark Matter just another word for Black Hole? Cause I know
scientists couldn't prove it's existence, but as time goes by they
find out more and more. There was a discussion on White
Matter too, wasn't there? I just thought I read that somewhere.
