Well Iam involved with this girl and we seem to like eachother alot. I have told her before that I tend to be a jealous person and she told me that she wasn't a jealous person at all. But whenever Iam playing around with a friend such as hugging and kissing my friends just for fun...My gf doesn't really seem to talk to me much at all. She'll just kinda back off and I always think that either she is jealous of me and my friend or she has lost intrest. What do you think???

Two possibilities: most likely she really is jealous; or when she sees how you act with your friend, she may feel that you've lost interest and tries to put some distance between herself and the hurt (which includes you). In either case try to be respectful of her feelings when interacting with your friends. Just because someone says they don't get jealous, doesn't mean it's true, and it certainly doesn't mean that their feelings won't get hurt as a result of another's actions. It might be a good idea to explain to her that the "play" is just your way of being freindly so that she'll have a more understanding perspective. And if, in fact, the "play" is really your way of being more than friendly, you should probably knock it off. If you like her, why mess it up?

Um, even if the person said they aren't the jealous type, why would you "play around with a friend" in front of them? A hug is nothing to worry about but I would seriously question any kissing other than on the cheek or forehead.

Sounds like she is jealous. I get distant with my girlfriend when I am jealous about something. Doesn't mean that I've lost interest in her though.

she's jealous and you should consider that so dont hug and kiss your friends anymore, try to understand her feeling.
she doesnt wanna confess that she's jealous, what can i say? that's girl, girl is sensitive, and that's her ego not want to let you to know. ;)

its human nature to be jealous. especially if someone is trying to make you jealous.people that say they dont get jealous are lying.either to you or to themselves.
