A loan officer would not need a real estate license, but a mortgage broker or a loan officer license. You could go to your state's website and look for the Department of Professional Licensing, then click "License Lookup." If you tell me what state you live in and give me your email address (if it isn't not provided in your profile,) I'd be glad to send you the link...but that is how you do it. The other means would be to go to their office and ask to see it. It is required that they keep it on file and some states' laws require that it be prominently displayed.
Peace

Why would he need one?
He is a banker not a sales agent.
