Been together for 20 yrs and not married? That's great. Congratulations. Well, if you think getting married will make the bliss more stronger, why not?

I have heard many times, marriage changes (significantly) the nature of the relationship, not necessarily for the worse but changes it. If you are happy now why change things. To coin a phrase" If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

that depends on if you belive in what the bible says. Right now you are living in sin. If you dont care what thre bible says then whats the point? Of course you do know in many states you are alredy considered common - law married.

If you want to. I've been unmarried for 7 years with my boyfriend, and it suits us fine. A wedding might be nice, and would help in certain legal matters, but in this day and age isn't necessary.

What was holding you back for that long? Some people are to afraid to take that step. Like its going to change their love for that person? I don't think so.
