Tom Cruis acts like a jerk these days. What has happened? Was he always like this, being a fanatic about his Scienctology religion. He seems to keep Katie Holmes captured in his house, and the baby locked up too. What is wrong with him? Has he just gone nuts?

Yes. He is spouting stuff that is known to be incorrect, and unfortunately some people are just ignorant enough that they believe him, and this could seriously harm some people. The most telling thing I read about him came from the Journal of Clinical Investigation, a respected medical journal in which the author asked if he wanted to debate the monoamine hypothesis (as a potential cause of clinical depression). I also believe that he is a victim of what he has been told as he is only getting his information on psychiatry from the Cult of Scientology, and needs to do some outside research of his own. He focuses only the abuses and failures of the psychiatric profession and completely ignores any of its successes. Psychiatry is now based on brain chemistry and not "guesses" - it is now a "hard science". The Wall Street Journal has just reported that Paramount Pictures will no longer work with him because of his offscreen antics. That which comes around, goes around.

Yes, I used to like Tom Cruise but now I really can't stand him. I do think he's gone off the deep end lately. Trying to convert the whole world to Scientology and critizing other celebs for taking anti-depression medication or any other thing they do that he doesn't believe in. Kind of makes me wonder if he was always that way or if his divorce from Nicole made him that way. Either way he's definitely a few fries short of a happy meal.

I think his acting has nothing to do with his private life. I don't recall hearing about him acting like a jerk. Katie and him are always photographed out so she is hardly captured and he trys to keep his baby out of the public eye, at least for now, if you were him you would want to protect your child too. So what he jumped on Oprahs couch like a zillion years ago, so what. Leave him alone already.

I had a poor opinion of him in the first place, so no. He's a Scientology nut job and I'm glad he's finally being revealed for that. The media have been far too soft on Xenu's children for far too long. It's about time they started doing some serious reporting on that dangerous cult.

Yes...He now makes me sick to my stomache when ever i hear his name see him on t.v. or even think about his antics. I used to love Top Gun now I can't watch don't want to watch and could care less to watch it....what goes for all of his other films too. Tom Cruise if you are Reading this...GO LIVE IN A CAVE to spare us the utter imbaresment...you make america look crazier then the 2000 elections did.

I think so, I just read in MSN that Paramount has cut all ties to him. That's got to tell ya something, I mean most film companies will stick with anyone if they think they will still make them money, and let all face it there are still a lot of people that will go see his movies no matter what.

As a personnality I'd never care less.!All the fanatics about religion and stuff make me sick coz that shows poor education etc.However even though I never though he was a good actor I really liked him in the movie"interview with a vampire"coz that was a really good one and I am fond of vampires!
