It's pretty simple really, go to bed earlier. I guarantee, if she's in bed and asleep before 10pm she'll have no problem getting up for 7-8.

She should get to bed at a reasonable time so that her body has had enough sleep. Setting her alarm everyday for the same time and having a morning routine will help. Her body clock will adjust after a week or so and she will start waking just before her alarm, but she must make sure she goes to bed around the same time too.

Set the alarm clokc and place it clear across the room so she HAS to get out of bed and walk to turn it off. Set two alarms if u have too. One 5 minutes later than the first! She should be on a better routine here before too long once she gets use to getting up for school. Every year we start the school bedtime one week before school starts so he gets use to the new times. Has always worked wonderful for us. Some people r just not morning people- Im one of them! lol She may never adjust to getting up early! But as long as she does- it will all work out! Daily vitamins may help also! A decent bedtime! My son is 15 almost 16 and on school nights his butt is in bed at 11

Well lets say she goes to bed at say 1 and gets up at 11. You want her up by 8. Change the time from 11 am to 8 am by changing 1 to 10. And if not then make her go to bed at 9 and fall asleep by 10! Also have an alarm. My mom has 3 practice days we go to bed and get up when we should on a school day. Slowly change the timing and shell be up at 8 every day!

Get her into a routine where she goes to bed earlier, don't allow her to watch TV or play on PC for 1 hour before she goes to bed (this stimulates visual sensors and can increase adrenalin and so makes it more difficult to sleep), try exercise or even just reading.
Get a good alarm clock and don't keep letting her off with the excuse that it's her body clock, if she really wanted to get up she would, she is just being lazy.
Remember that her employer won't take that excuse when she leaves school and has to work.

Every teen in the World would wake at ll if they could!! Leave her be. Shes growing and getting up her strength to face clubbing etc. No point in trying to face getting her up early. The first day of school, just kick her out of bed and give her a packed lunch. She can eat this as breakfast and get up half an hour later....
Shell be fine!! Probably end up as a night worker anyway.

Spend the last week before school sending her to bed and waking her up half an hour earlier each day. Don't give her foods or drinks containing sugar or caffeine after dinner either. If she can't get to sleep easily give her some warm milk.

It sounds like she needs to go to bed earlier and at the same time every day, including weekends and holidays. If she's 8 years old, for example, she should go to bed at 8pm (time is same as age) and wake up around 7am, which would give her 11 hours of sleep.

The best way is to set a regular sleep schedule. This means that on weekends she must get up and go to sleep within an hour or two of when she would on school days. Not the most popular solution, but the most effective :)

tell her to go to bed earlier, then get a big alarm clock (the sort with 2 bells on top that makes a right racket, like the one in my son's bedroom) set it for the same time every day, then it will just become part of her routine
