Ns stands for National Service, which require every Singaporean male at the age of 18 to 21 to register and get train to serve the country. Guys like to talk bout their NS days cause that is the time they get matured and that is the only topic that doesn't involve ladies.

What is " NS days"?

Thanks for the clarification. I can only speculate that it is a male bonding thing. A strange man love for another who shared a similar experience. Guys talk about their time in the " Service" here in the States. No difference really.

NS is national service. All Singaporean males have to go through it.

Maybe they like remembering how fit they were back then?Or maybe they want to share their experiences?
